Explore this site to discover some of the stories of men and women from Chandler who served during World War II.

In May 1943, at the height of World War II, the people of Chandler honored their hometown heroes who were serving their country by erecting an "Honor Roll" billboard downtown in Dr. A.J. Chandler Park. The sign listed the names of men and women serving in the military who came to Chandler and small neighboring communities like Higley, Queen Creek, Chandler Heights and Goodyear. This site shares the stories of those whose names appeared on the Honor Roll.

Special thanks to our volunteers, without whom this project could not have happened!
