Forms of Communication: Postcards from the San Marcos Hotel

    Students will use postcards written by guests at the San Marcos Hotel in the 1920s, 30s, and 40s to observe writing styles, communication, and art.  Students will also make their own postcard.  This lesson is part of Chandler Museum's Use Local, Teach National Lesson plan series.

    This lesson is aligned with Arizona State Curriculum Standards and Common Core for grades three through eight.  Teachers can adapt the lesson to meet the needs of their student's learning abilities.
